The Overhead Bench is a static site served from a content delivery network. It has no account system, no comment form, no shop and no newsletter, so there is nothing to sign up for and no profile to build.

What is recorded

The pages themselves set no cookie and run no analytics script of their own. The delivery network that serves the site processes the request in order to deliver it, which means it sees the address of the page asked for, the Internet address the request came from, and the user agent of the browser. That information is used to serve the page.

What is not recorded

The bench does not sell data, does not build a profile of a reader, and does not match a visit to a name. There is no third-party advertising script on any page and no tracking pixel.

Writing to the bench

If you have written to contact@garage-door-openers.com, your message is kept only as long as it takes to answer it and to correct the work order it concerns. Ask at that address and the message will be deleted.
