The Overhead Bench

Every work order on this bench takes one question about a sectional garage door and answers it: what a torsion spring rating actually means, how to test the safety reversal this month, why a belt drive is quieter than a chain, where the thermal bridge sits at the lintel, and which of these jobs a homeowner may do and which belong to a trained technician. A work order is written from the standards, the installation instructions and the service literature, then filed under one of four organs: the door, the operator, the springs, and service. Nothing here is for sale.
